Group Reservations

Group Reservations

Are you planning your stay with a group? We offer Group Reservations for 2 or more sites.

Why Make a Group Reservation

Group Reservations allow each group member to claim their own site, giving them control of the following:

  • Providing their own payment information and knowing the exact cost of their site
  • Receiving important emails, calls, or updates to their stay directly from the Campground
  • Receiving a diret refund or Camp Credit in the event of a cancellation
  • Making changes to their stay, such as site number and dates
  • Accepting our Terms & Conditions
  • Adding extra guests, tents, or other add-ons to their own site
  • Receiving important emails like the Welcome FAQ email which includes directions, cell reception info, maps, and the Virtual Check-In email

Within our virtual check-in email, we offer important information about your stay. We ask guests to accept our terms & conditions (waiver for our rules/regulations) and provide information on your equipment and occupancy.

BONUS: Group reservations will stay together. Guests in Groups will not be moved away from their party in the event that the Campground needs to adjust sites.

How It Works

  1. Choose a Group Leader to call us and reserve all sites needed. Group Leaders must provide the  equipment type for each site they are reserving (i.e. 32FT travel trailer, 30FT fifth wheel, 22FT moterhome, etc.)
  2. The Group Leader claims their own site with the required deposit/payment
  3. All other group members then call us within 3 days to claim their own site within the group

IMPORTANT: Group Members have 3 days to claim their site. If any sites are unclaimed after 3 days, those sites will be opened to the public for rebooking. It is important to claim all sites within the timeframe, or a stanger may book a site between you and your group.

The Cost of Booking for Others without A Group Reservation

When booking a site, we create a Guest Profile for the person making the reservation. Only that guest can pay for the site, make changes, or call to receive information specifically about the reservation. We take guest privacy seriously. We will not give information out about a booking unless the person on the reservation ticket calls us. If you book for a friend, this can cause confusion, because we will not be able to share details about the reservation with them if they call for information.

Additionally, if you choose to book many sites under your own Guest Profile for your entire group, you risk losing any deposits if one of your group members cancels.

As a group member without a group reservation, your payment to the group leader may change if that Leader books more sites than needed, and you are stuck paying more than you expected.

And finally, Camp Credit is non-transferrable. We cannot make payments on one Guest Profile from another guest’s account. Therefore, if one of your group members cancels, they do not receive the credit to rebook their stay the guest who booked must use that credit themselves.

What About Add On Tents & Buddy Sites?

Group Reservations are different than Add-On Tents because more than 1 site is being booked. They also differ from Buddy sites, as 2 campers can fit on one buddy site, but can also be booked with only one camper and have extra room.
