Camping at Riverview Campsites

Currently, the majority of our campsites are all “Dry” camping sites. At this time, we have twenty five 30-Amp Electric sites; however, we are in the process of adding more. We do have trash receptacles, a dump station, non-potable water fill areas, shower house, and portable restrooms. We strive to make your stay comfortable–use of quiet generators (60 dB max. at 5 feet) are welcome!

Directions to Riverview Campsites in Benezette, PA

Here are some helpful directions to find us, especially useful if you are coming in after dark.

Our campsite is located on a completely new road in Benezette, PA called Riverview Road. Your GPS may not find it right away so we encourage you to go old school and get out your map before heading our way.
If you are using an app on your phone, we also encourage you to use the Google Maps app opposed to the Apple Maps app, as we have found better results with Google. We are working on that issue with Apple Maps to correct our directions.

Here are some instructions to make your way to the campground without issue.

  1. We are located between the towns of Benezette (5.5 miles) and Driftwood (11.1 miles) PA right off State Route 555.
  2. When coming from Benezette, you’ll pass by other street signs off of State Rt 555 before Riverview Road. Follow this order: Overturf Circle > Columbia Lane > Winslow Hill Road > Grant Road > RIVERVIEW ROAD. If you see Enz Hollow Lane, you’ve gone too far!
  3. When coming from Driftwood, you will see > Enz Hollow Lane > RIVERVIEW ROAD. If you see Grant Road, you’ve gone too far!
  4. We have 2 entrances to the campground.
  5. Our main entrance takes guests to primitive riverside sites 1-51. This entrance is marked with a blue RIVERVIEW Road sign and a large sign pictured below.
  6. Our entrance to the Mountain View sites 91-100 is marked with a smaller MOUNTAIN VIEW ENTRANCE sign To find this entrance, travel from the main entrance west towards Benezette a quarter mile and see the sign and dirt road heading down the hill toward a red barn. Along this entrance is state route marker 320/330 pictured below. From Benezette, the Mountain view Entrance is FIRST. Across from the Mountain view entrance is an active logging site and the EAGLES VIEW entrance sign, which is our private overlook.
